Privacy.
This policy is short because the site collects almost nothing. Gathered Work is a project of Field Assembly LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company. Effective August 29, 2026. Field Assembly's other products have their own privacy policy; this one describes gatheredwork.com specifically.
What this site does not do
No accounts. No analytics or tracking scripts of any kind — no beacons, no pixels, no fingerprinting. No cookies: the site sets none, for any purpose. No advertising. No third-party requests from any page: fonts, styles, and scripts are served from this domain only. No sale or sharing of personal information, in the ordinary sense or as those terms are defined by state privacy laws.
The tools on this site are local-only. The hasher on the vault page computes fingerprints in your browser; your files are never transmitted, and the tool works with networking disabled. The packet assembler on the records page works the same way: files you drop into it are processed in your browser, never transmitted, and the tool functions with networking disabled. Gathered Work never receives your documents or their contents.
What we do receive
Server logs. The site is served through Cloudflare, whose infrastructure records standard request metadata (IP address, requested page, timestamp, user agent) at the network edge. We see this only as aggregate traffic counts; nothing is injected into pages to track you. Cloudflare's handling is described in its privacy policy.
Email. If you write to hello@gatheredwork.com, we receive your message and address and use them to respond. Mail to this domain is routed by Cloudflare Email Routing to an inbox we control.
Change alerts (when offered). If you subscribe to be notified when an institution's sources change, we keep that email for that purpose only, and every message will include an unsubscribe that works.

To see, correct, or delete anything we hold about you — which for visitors is nothing — email hello@gatheredwork.com from the address in question. We will update this policy here, with the effective date revised, before any material change takes effect.
