Gathered Work is a project of Field Assembly LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company ("Field Assembly," "we," "us"). These terms govern your use of gatheredwork.com. Nothing on this site is sold: the pages, the checklists, the vault hasher, and the packet assembler are free to use, and there is no account to create and no transaction to enter into. Effective August 29, 2026. Field Assembly's other products are governed by their own terms.
Use of the site
By using this site you confirm you are at least 18 years old. The site is offered to residents of the United States; if you use it from elsewhere, you are responsible for compliance with your local law. Use the site only for lawful purposes: do not attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the site, scrape it by automated means without written consent, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
Everything on this site is educational information and self-help tooling, not legal advice, and not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. The site does not determine which policy governs any case, calculate deadlines, recommend arguments, or predict outcomes. Institution pages quote and link official sources with retrieval dates; the quoted institutions publish, control, and may change those sources at any time, and what any source means for a particular case is for the institution and its process to determine. The Gathered Work name, wordmark, site design, and the content we create are owned by Field Assembly LLC. Quoted institutional material belongs to its institutions and is reproduced in brief excerpts, with attribution and links, for informational purposes; copyright concerns may be sent to hello@gatheredwork.com or through Field Assembly's copyright process.
The boilerplate that matters
Disclaimers. The site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that quoted institutional sources are current at the moment you read them — check the originals, which are linked beside every quotation — and we make no representation about the outcome of any academic proceeding.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Field Assembly LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or its tools. Our total liability for all claims shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
Indemnification. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Field Assembly LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from claims arising from your use of the site or its tools or your violation of these terms.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here at least 30 days before taking effect, with the effective date above revised. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
